Here's a link to my Tea Cozy (it's such a huge picture that I thought a link would be best):

I embroidered it with "Yummy Tea" using R2 Sparkle after knitting it all in one colour.

It will keep my Earl Grey hot!

Why can't puffins eat pancakes instead?

Thanks!

R2's Sparkle is great for adding that finishing touch. If you can find it in the USA I highly recommend it!

I did the 8-ball tea cozy.  I changed it a little - I made the decreases at the top mirrored so that it's more like wedges at the top (beach ball style) and I left the cast off stitches unseamed so that the lid handle ball thing pokes through.  But isn't it adorable!?!  I made this and bought the teapot for a housewarming/christmas present.

Laurac, I love your cozy and so does your teapot!  Beautiful color and I love the sparkly lettering.  I wonder what other inanimate objects would love a cozy?  Legwarmers for your table?

Melidomi, that Magic Eight Ball makes me weep tears of joy.  Please tell me that that would be a good beginner's project! (Lie if you have to!)  The only thing I've ever knitted was a super wavy (but not on purpose), ugly scarf.

It is very easy and a good way to learn knitting a image.

gadgetgirl, you've made me soooo happy!  I'd like to try this after I finish all my Christmas sewing.  Was thinking of sewing a version of this out of black velvet with leopard fur lining.
