I have a pair of galoshes that are black with pink polkadots (sorry, no pic, but you can probably imagine), and they're very cute, but really not my style. I looked at the other shoe tutorial things, and does it seem possible to paint them with acrylics? I have artist's acrylics which I wouldn't mind using on this, they're thicker and more apt to stick than craft acrylics. But I think it might scratch off easily, so I'd need some sort of varnish...

Has anybody tried this? Or painting with acrylics on vinyl/plastic in general?
