I make heaps of cards.. heaps! But I never get around to taking pictures (hence I don't get around to posting pics!). So I've decided to be more proactive and take pics before I give them away.
I have a few 21st birthdays coming up, so these are some cards I've made so far (with some awesome ephemera I received from teamwang not long ago!)..

The first one has a chidlren's book image, buttons and you can't really see inthe pic, but I liked to finish cards with stamp ink just smudged along them edges.
The second one was a few different types of paper- Happy Birthday is stamped onto some homemade paper and the flowers in the centre are a bit raised and textured. There are some buttons and a little fairy charm thing (that I think used to be on an old ring I had).

Comments welcome! Cheesy

Oooh, lovely! I love using vintage papers/images (I photocopy them) to decoupage, etc. etc... I assume you photocopied the childrens book... my mom has really old book of fairytales and this picture reminds me a lot of what's in it... NICE JOB!  I wish I could get such original cards on my b-day!

Thanks for your lovely compliments! I usually scan and photocopy things like that too.. but it's an actual page from a children's book... Generally I can't bring myself to destroy books.. (even the cheapest ones from the op-shop/thrift store), but this one was received in a swap I did.. pre-cut so I managed to use it!!
