haha I was wondering why there were participants number 1, 2 and 8. But now, I totally get it!!

I'm going to play around with fabrics and if I feel my skills are up to par, I'll join. I've never really gotten along with my sewing machine but I'll try Wink

you definitely dont have to sew, there are plenty of ways to adhere and connect fabric!

yeah! That's what I was thinking....you could hand sew, wet or needle felt, or fuse or glue fabric.  Quilt shops have lots of patterns now for small quilts tops done with fusible web.

I'm new to ACT, how do you make a fabric act? is it all made out of fabric? do you put interface in between the two peices of fabric? do you put all your info on the back like a regular one? it still has to be the right size too, right? HELP ME  Huh Huh

People get very creative with fabric ATCs ... they can be all fabric, front and back; the front fabric, and then adhered to a backing of cardstock; some people embroidery; and some people mix up fabric and paper. It is totally up to you. And as posted above, it doesn't have to be sewn ... it can be glued or you can use fusible webbing.

It does have to meet the size requirements of ATCs, 2.5" x 3.5", and it has to have the info on the back as a standard ATC does.

Maybe this will help, too: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=167014.0

Let me know if you have any other questions~

Ohh.. I've never made ATC's before, but this swap sounds like loads of fun. Unfortunately school starts just after signups ends Undecided I'll have to think about this.. Three ATC's can't take THAT much time? I love to play and be creative with fabric Smiley
