Ok, so I'm doing one of those "In-A-Box" gifts for my boyfriend's birthday, I decided to do Japan in a box. While he doesn't really dig the whole meditative zen thing he DOES like playing in sand AND Mario! Thus.....The Mario Zen Garden!

I still think it needs a little something more. Maybe some stones....or blocks painted like the question mark boxes?

Anywho, what do ya'll think?!

I LOVE it!  Yes, some question boxes would be fabulous.  I think kitty wants to add something special to the box, too!  Wink

That is brilliant! I love the idea of 1 up mushrooms and the questions mark boxes. Maybe you could add a couple gold coins to it. More to play with is always good

This rocks!

Question boxes, mushrooms, or maybe a goomba?

Oh my gawd!  I love it.  Mario meets Zen garden so obvious Wink

I love Zen gardens they really are relaxing.  I love the sound of the rake across the sand.  You have really come up with a winner here.  Not only have I never seen a themed Zen garden aside from the seaside, but you have made it so awesomely geeky.  I love it.

Keep up the pace.  This has vast reaching potential Grin

Oh and as for stuff to add you totally need some question mark boxes and some pirahna pipes!  Mushrooms are also good.  Goombas too!
