I'm **Considering** making my best friend a signature quilt to have the quests t her wedding sign. The reason I'm considering it is the big day is September 22nd so I would have a little more than a month to make a million quilt squares. The second problem being that I can't find a pattern I like. Anyone made a signature quilt or know any good patterns?? I've googled my heart out and can't find anything good!!

Here is a signature "non-pattern."  Probably not the look you're going for, but it's interesting, right?

Here's another:

I'm wandering off to try to find the pattern I used on the one I did...

If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

I think the Friendship Star is a traditional signature block. Here it is at Quilters' Cache.

If you're worried about the time crunch, just cut the pieces people would sign, and set them on a table with pens, then present the piece at the 1st anniversary party.

Awesome idea..although my friend would probably drive me crazy waiting that long. I was thinking I might be able to finish it in time for a Christmas present. That gives me about 3 months to finish it..while going to school full time..and working full time...hahahahah!!!!!

Ok so I created a really cool design idea for the quilt. The thing is I have no idea what these blocks are called or how to make them!! It might not even be a real block!!!

I think I've heard that block called shooting stars.

(:::Opens Quilters Cache:Roll Eyes Turns out that's what Quilters Cache calls it too!

It does seem like a nice & easy one with a beautiful overall pattern - go for it!

Awesome!! Thanks a million!! I looked and looked and couldn't find anything like it!! I'm also putting the bride and grooms picture in the center where the candle design is. Now I can't wait to get started! Thanks again, you've helped out soooo much!
