OK, get on Marsh Harris' weblist- I got yards and yards of vintage silk for practically nothing today.
Seriously for under $40 bucks I walked out with: 5 yards white silk satin, 2 yards cutwork embroidered linen in white, 2 yards cutwork embroidered linen in soft grey (these will become Easter dresses for my girls without a doubt), roughly 6 yards off white chiffon-possibly silk, about 3 yards fantastic multi colored lame', 2 smallish pieces heavy real Chinese traditional themed brocade and a piece of silk that is a rough homespun type texture that is also fairly substatial. Under $40 : )

This sale also had lots of hats, purses and some fantastic designer clothes but the even-earlier-than-me lady got most of the best dresses (she's an Ebay seller).
