Someone posted a tutorial (i'm totally sorry i'm blanking on who right now) and i took that idea and made one to the dimensions i wanted.

it was my first attempt and i think it turned out pretty good - i want to make it taller next time and not quite so wide, though and i forgot to put a handle on it.  oops.

here are the pics.

it's for my son's 'stuff' when we go on our camping trip soon.

I really enjoy reading all the posts here.  it's very hard to find typing time though to reply as i have 2 young children that are special needs and they are quite a handful. . ..

thanks for looking at my stuff.  Smiley

Great fabric! I bet your son loves it. Mine would.

I know what you mean about the kids. My guys are eating breakfast right now, so I have oh about 20 mins to browse!

Nice work!  My boys would love it.  I know what you mean about no time. I have twin boys who are both special needs and I am a single parent. Wouldn't have it any other way though.  Grin

Was this the tutorial you used?

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=176509.0

I like yours because of the wide bottom.  It sits nicely on a table.  I need a smallish bag for my accessories for bowling that will sit up straight like that.  I made a version of the humbug bag for this but I like yours better.  If you have some measurements and maybe a hand drawing of your pattern could you PM me with it? I know you're busy so if you can't, I certainly understand.

Your son will love the bag.  My grandsons love it when I make little bags for their backpacks and for playing cowboy and mountain man.

Thanks for your picture.  I can read the dimensions just fine.  I tacked the picture to the bottom of the original tutorial for use very soon.
