If you have transportation and some spare time I suggest heading east on the freeway to Lakeland and go to Peace Creek bead shop (Take 4 to the Polk County Parkway and get off at South Florida Ave. head south and it's on the left---4204 S. Florida Ave.). It's a great shop.

The Strawberry Festival will probably be going on at that time. It's in Plant City, also east on the freeway. It's kind of a cow-tossing, pig-poking affair, but there are crafters and the best strawberries you've ever tasted.

Hmmm...inspiration galore in Ybor City. I love it there during the day (At night it becomes a club atmosphere).

Tampa is such a great place. Full of culture. I have moved a lot in my life and one of the moves was from Tampa to Orlando. Tampa has the whole Cuban influence, and the pirate history and Guavaween and all these great things and Orlando has...wait for it...Disney. Strange move. Then I moved from Orlando to West Palm and there is even less culture in WPB than in Orlando. Have fun in Tampa! It's definitely one of the best cities in FL.

Yeah, I live in Plant City; The Strawberry Festival is great. Best strawberry shortcake I've ever tasted.

Hmm, yes, Peace Creek Bead Shop is great. Theres also a Micheals in Lakeland, I'm not sure excatly where, but It's near the Lakeland Square Mall...

Uh...somewhere near the corner of Griffin and 98, I believe. I haven't been there in so long.
