I've recently made these 2 bags, first one is a white cord and the other is a brown suede. The white cord is for my niece she likes white- I can't do white w/out it getting dirty but that's me! The brown one is just something I experimented with. Tell me what you think!

White cord purse on outside, red roses on the lining, closes with a zipper and has a outer zip pocket with coordinating liner fabric

Inside one zipper pocket lined with white cord! And key fob b/c she's always losing keys!

Next is the brown purse, this looks almost like a messenger style to me, I like how it turned out but its not really my style

It has a flap and closes with a magnet, 2 patch type pockets under the flap

Inside has pink flower type I used Michael Miller's Crystal flowers anyway I put in a zipper pocket too, I kinda messed up on the lining my brain still has a hard time with planning! lol!

In back I added a large pocket and did some leaf stitching that was on my sewing machine  Smiley I especially like that!

Well that's it for now- hope you liked!

Very nice, I 'specially like the second one. It's very professional looking.

The bags are both nice. I especially like the leaf stitching you did on the brown bag. That really added a lot to that bag. Great job!

I really like both of them. I'm w/you about having white stuff. Pretty but too hard to keep clean or maybe I'm just too messy.LOL Did you use a pattern for the white one? I really like the style. I need to try out the different stitches on my machine. The leaf pattern really adds to the bag.

Thanks everyone for the kind words Grin CraftMomNancy; I used my own pattern - totally made it up according to my niece's directions! I'm glad it turned out and she likes it!

Thanks I love messing around with the few decorating stitches I have, it's an old sewing machine but still has a few good points!

Thanks, that's so nice of you to say, I consider myself a beginner yet especially with the talent on this forum!
