Other than the fact that Susan Bates is there to make a profit, is there ANY reason on earth why they can't package the plastic hooks individually?  This is the 4th time this year I've had to buy an entire set of F to K hooks just because I lost my F hook.  I can buy just ONE steel hook.  I can buy just ONE aluminum hook, although I HATE aluminum.  I can buy just ONE plastic hook, as long as it's size N or larger.  But a normal sized plastic crochet hook?  Nope, gotta buy the whole set. <sigh>

i am pretty sure that joann's sells their brand of hook individually, and those are plastic. and i have seen the susan bates plastic hooks individually at hobby lobby, but i don't remember if it was an F hook.

um... maybe you could try ebay next time?

Alas, no Hobby Lobbies in NJ or PA.  Sad  I haven't seen individual Joann's brand hooks at my local store, but there's a GIANT Joann's somewhere near my office (haven't been there yet, but I'll have to check it out).  Thanks!

Lion brand is the same shape as the susan bates hooks and they are sold individually, try Michael's or order from the Lion site Smiley
