Well I'm not that talented but it looks like a basic round tote but with a zipper compartment in the bottom. It looks like it slouches when set down but I'm wondering if it would be straight when picked up. Gathers could be added to the sides to obtain the look.

I think you could easily make that bag. Find some cool abstract fabric and go for it!!

$148 - gee!  Go for it.  I wondered about the slouch part, also.  I think the wild fabric is the best part.  catdaddytn

i almost think you'd need to get some of that crazy-awesome wire that always wants to curl spring back outwards, like they use for hampers and car-window-shades and stuff, and sew it in a casing around the sides, so that it would hold its shape even when slouching.

kind of like this, but on a smaller scale...and looser, i guess. maybe use a wire that is a bit shorter than it needs to be, and anchor it at the top and bottom? i dunno, maybe i just need to go back to sleep, lol

At www.ericas.com  there is a pattern called "Thelma's knitting bag". It is very similar to the one you want in that it has the zippered bottom piece. The top is different but I think you could figure it out as it would be only a small alteration.
