If we're all thinking outside the box, doesn't that just put us in a bigger box?

This pattern was from the Stitch n Bitch Calendar and was a fun, relatively quick knit. I used Lion Brand Landscapes in "Country Sunset" - the photo doesn't do it justice! I thought about felting the whole thing, but I decided I like the reverse stockinette texture. It still needs a lining to be useful though. I've never lined a bag before so it might be sitting a while before I can use it.

Yeah, the colours are gorgeous! I really like it.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

The northern downpour sends its love.
