20 months in the making, I present to you, my esteemed crafsters, finally, my first pair of socks:



They're made from Regia 4-ply in a self-striping wool (or yarn, if you prefer  Wink) To read the Ballad of the First Sock, please see my blog.

I even finished them whilst in my 20s. With whole 2 days to spare  Grin If I ever make socks again, they will be ankle socks. Or trainer socks  Roll Eyes

Aw, the legs are the fun part! (The heel is always intimidating, though - I've only ever made two pairs)

The socks are beautiful, I love the self-patterning effect. The picture isn't working, though (I took a peak in your blog!).
