I have so enjoyed reading along many of the posts and tonight I just finished a tote along with a matching simple wallet.

Here are pics:

be honest.

the bag handles are about 12" long, the length of bag is close to 15" long and is approx 11" wide.

the inner fabric is actually lavender, not pink.  the denim fabric has embroidered purple, rust red, and orange flowers all over it.

i made a small pocket to hold the simple wallet and attached a key fob holder.  (gotta love my snap press, lol.)

Woo! beautiful work. I love the flowers and the details you put into it. Great work on the keyfob, pocket and wallet. I also love the shape of the bag.

Very nice. And I really like how you made the snap pocket on the inside. That is a great idea I have never seen before.

I like that you made a matching set, and that you included a key fob holder with a snap. Makes me want to go out and buy snap tools to play with. Smiley

thanks ya'll for looking and posting your comments.  Smiley

i'm new to sewing stuff like this.  i only started sewing a year ago because disposable diapers cost so much that i thought surely i could figure out how to sew those cute cloth diapers for cheaper than i could buy them. . . and my sewing stemmed from there. Smiley

i got the fabric at joann's.  i thought it was really pretty with the embroidery on it.

i learned i like iron on interfacing better than sew in - the sew in one made my bag floppy, whereas the one in the pics, i used iron on.  (I made 2 bags, lol)\

I love the bag and wallet set. The inner pocket is adorable. and the Keyfob is genuis. You have to love that iron on interfacing. I know I do.
