I've made a few zippered pouches (using e.r.i.k.a.'s lovely tutorial on here), but this is the first one that I'm actually proud of. I'm finally getting the zipper right.

Made from some cotton fabric I found at Jo-Ann's last year, complete with a removable teal fabric covered button!

And, while I'm posting, an owl pin I've been working on -

He's not quite finished yet, though  Wink

I love that fabric.
And your owl is so cute.  He looks perfect as is.  What else are you planning to do to him?

OMG that is adorable!!! It looks really well done.  I spent a good part of monday going through my fabric stash and making mini card wallets, but they don't really look good yet.  I would love to try one of these, but I don't have any zippers on hand.  As a college student I never carry a purse, because I'm running around so much I would leave it somewhere AND I already have a huge backpack.

The owl is super cute too!  Cheesy

I made a little zippered pouch in the same fabric as the first one.  So naturally, I love yours.  haha.

I was going to post almost these same words, so I decided to borrow annoyinglittlegirl's instead!   Grin  The rounded corners truly are a nice detail.
