I made this patch a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out what i wanted to do with it, till now. I had picked up my childhood books from my parents house, to give my 6 month old daughter, and found the Lonely Doll.

The author is the photographer, it's full of awesome pictures. so I put my patch on this little girls bag, made from an old silk curtain. It's my second post of a bag from those curtains with patches made from book images and text. maybe i should make bags to take to the library or something...

The bag measures about 6 and 1/2 by 7 inches, and the handle's about 4 inches tall.

i was surprised to look online and see they were still in print, mine's from 1979. apparently the author had something of a following. i never knew there was more than 1 book either!
