Here are three necklaces I re-worked using inexpensive jewelry and stuff I had laying around:


The puffy heart charm was once part of a keychain ($1.50). I reattached it to a necklace chain I already had.

I removed the anchor pendant from its chain and attached it to a red elastic hairband (hah, no more need for a clasp).

The sparrow came from a pair of earrings (around $3 from the Mary Kate and Ashley collection at Walmart). Though the earrings were cute, I fancied a dainty sparrow necklace instead. So, I attached the wings to a chain using small jump rings.

Easy as pie... and just about as cheap, too.
