yay photobucket is working.

So here's the lovely stuff i got from crumpet79!

in my questionaire, i wrote that i just got my permit and would love something for driving, so she made me these awesome review mirror charms! i believe they're shrinky dinks, and they say "tracking treasure down" which is a song i chose.

four magnets with gabriel and dresden, with the lyrics "you had me wishing that everything was real"

this was my favorite part. its a cd case for my "driving music" decoupaged with a picture of ATB on a cd. i love the pink and sparkles too!

Hello, Everyone!  I received my package from cindy_23942!  Here's my loot:

Handmade octopus notecards and envelopes, shrinky dink rings, and an original painting based on Tom Waits' "Alice" (with the lyrics printed on the background paper).

A recycled bag music note tote.

We are getting some truly awesome stuff up in here... I'm so impressed by everything!

I've been silent for a bit, I apologise, I AM keeping track of everything. I'll do a BIG update-o-rama tonight so that everyone knows where they are at.

Keep the greatness coming, folks.

I'm glad people like the painting Smiley I need to paint more outside of school!

To further explain things:
- Brenna's fave songs were "The Letter" by PJ Harvey, "Alice" by Tom Waits, and "Put A Little Love In It" by Ike Reilly
- The painting was, of course, inspired by "Alice". The style is inspired by this: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=40878
- The rings were inspired by "Put A Little Love In It", and Brenna had asked for rings in her questionnaire
- The notecards were inspired by "The Letter", for Brenna to write her own. There are actually 3 motifs on the 6 cards; she said she like octopi/squids, owls, and cute skulls
- She also said she wanted a tote, and I appliqued a music note on one for this music swap!

So I'm glad you liked it, and I can't wait to get my package!

I received my wonderful package from Kitten Wrangler today!

First we have an awesome messenger bag based on "Monkey Gone to Heaven" by The Pixies (just what I wanted!)

Detail on the monkey patch.

Here we have a cute little handbag based on "Birdhouse for your Soul" by They Might Be Giants. The embroidery is really beautiful.

Next we have a really cool book cover complete with sketch book
(I really needed one of these, I can't wait to start filling it up!)

And finally an nifty pair of knitted earrings inspired by "Undone-The Sweater Song" by Weezer.

Thank-you so much for all these lovely things Grin

I'm glad you like, Red Fumes. I was getting quite attached to that messenger bag myself. And I've got quite an interesting little collection of primate+outer space photos now.

I love everything, but I really like the Monkey Gone to Heaven bag.  I turn the song up a little everytime it comes up on my iPod.
