Oh wow what lucky kids you have! i adore the mermaids hair the yarn is absolutely perfect. i think it is so great for kids to have toys that are made by their parents. even if they dont appreciate the specialness of it now (too cool if they do) they can look back and see how bitchin their mom was!

I love how colorful these toys are!  I'm partial to the mermaid (her fins are GOLD!), but I love the pirate's socks and 5 o'clock shadow.  Awesome job!  I love it!  Grin

I ordered that book and was sad that it's mostly knitting, i'm an avid crocheter, and your toys are wonderful!! Better than the ones in the book!!

I looked at that book in Barnes and Nobles and wasn't tempted at all....but now I think I might have to go get my own. They are too frickin' cute, great job.

What is the yarn of the main part of the mermaid tail? It's so pretty.

It's Berroco, but for some reason I only have half of the wrapper.  I do know it is color 4946.  Sorry I can't help anymore than that.  It is a fun yarn though, a lot going on in it!

The mermaid is pretty, but I love, love, love the pirate.
