my freshman year of college a freinds aunt mailed her a cake. it was hillarious. the frosting was everwhere- it looked like the cake had exploded!

tasted just as good though, and we were starving freshmen, so we were happy.

HAHAHAHA, I walked past cupcake supplies last night at the grocery store, and thought if I mailed them to my nephew for his birthday, would they hold up?

Once I packed a 9x12 pan of Lemon Bars in my suitcase, to take to a bridal shower in Cali.... Lemon bars do not hold up in checked baggage.  Lesson learned: Carry on baked goods!

Not crazy. Smiley I think it is a great idea to get a lot of flavor variety and getting people to mingle.

Last year, my friend had cupcake trees as centerpieces then a small cake for them to cut.

Would you be able to freeze any of them to take the pressure off you nearer the day?
My auntie made me fruit and sponge cakes for my wedding and the sponge cake could be frozen (before decorating I think) and was beautiful.

Sounds like a great idea to me.

You might be crazy, but I wouldn't be able to tell from THIS decision!  Roll Eyes
