So, we are in the process of converting the computer room into a baby nursery.  Cheesy  The computer must stay in the room, but it's not very baby friendly.  My husband and I (mostly my husband) created a custom built-in computer desk inside the closet.

The towels and linens are staying too, so I made a curtain to conseal them.  We even threw in the TV, so I can watch DIY and HGTV while I'm surfing on Craftster.

I'm so proud of us.  Everything fits perfectly!  I absolutely love it.  He designed it so well, the chair even fits inside the closet when the door is closed.

Here are some pictures.  Before ... During ... After.

That's awesome!!   We have a two bedroom house, and someday when we have kids, we'll probably end up doing something like this too!  Now I have my inspiration! Cheesy

This totally rocks...

Great idea!

Our house is 3 bedrooms, but the closet that made the most sense is the silly one in our diningroom, so I converted ours 3 years ago.  I love it, I can just close the door when company is here and hide the mess, LOL!

Thanks!  It's working out really well.  We added one of those 3-drawer plastic storage things to hold the computer paper, stapler, tape, etc.  It rolls right under the desk and off to the side so you don't see it and it's not in the way of our feet.
