Hey guys. I'm new to this whole Craftster thing, and after ooh-ing and
ah-ing over everyone's creations, I figured it would be time to post
some of my own.

This is a human heart that I knit on dpns around Christmas time for my
sister and her boyfriend who are both in medical school. I'm sure most
of you saw it in the Knit 1 issue that was out around that time for
Valentine's day. enjoy!!

and the grey scarf I knit when I was living in Africa this fall
dreaming of cold weather... I think the yarn is from Hobby Lobby. very
soft and an awesome shade of grey. The pattern is from knitty.com,
except the pearls were a little somethin-somethin extra I wanted to
do.

**Sorry the pics are on the larger size. I was too lazy to resize them.

I heart your heart!  I made one too, and it wasn't an easy pattern to follow.

It was my first DPN project too, but I didn't give up on them.  The pattern for the heart was just not written well.  Did you notice that they suggested making *three* atria?   Tongue

Sa-weet! The heart is totally cute. Great job on both - the yarn you used for the scarf looks really soft!

So glad I'm not the only one who had trouble with the pattern.
As an aside - I'm stuffing my heart with rice so it can be a "warm" heart or "cold" heart - Yule/Christmas present for my brother and sister-in-law who have everything or enough money to buy whatever they don't have and want.
