I'm interested in meeting other crafters in Saint John to possibly get together once a month to craft, share ideas, maybe combine our talents to sell our projects at craft fairs.  Anyone else?

I'm in Saint John.

Oh, and I know SparroWinter, who's also still in SJ, although she doesn't seem to have posted on Craftster in a very long time.

It's good to hear from some other Saint Johners!  I hadn't checked this thread in a while.  What type of things is everyone else into?  I do a lot of papercrafts, notebooks, cards, stuff like that.  How about all of you?

I started knitting about two years ago, but I only very recently stopped totally sucking at it. I just finished my first sock! (Unfortunately, it's still only one sock and I have two feet.) I started cross stitching this year, and I'd like to do a whole lot of other things if I could find the time. Occasionally I make really simple beaded bracelets.

Hey, usually only lurk on here, but just noticed this thread!  ^_^

I love to sew little felt toys, usually anime or Nintendo inspired....

Also I have a few dolls that I make clothing for. I love to rescue interesting looking dolls from Value Village!!

So far sounds like everyone is into something different!  I think around this time next year I'd like to do a couple of Rhoda's markets on Sundays to see if I can sell some Christmassy things.  Anyone tried that with success?  I had a few people tell me I should also check out the Kingston market so I may do that too.

I walk through the city market everyday on my way to work, and I would have to say that in the summer (cruise ship days!!!!!), that would be the best time......BUT I have also been toying with the idea of doing up the whole Rhoda's thing............I'm just so lazy/ selfish, I always wanna get crafty for myself. haha ^_^
