Country top with tutorial [well fed with images]

I bought the most beautiful floral printed fabric a few months ago.  But between school, going to France and Disneyland I hadn't had the time to make anything with it. Until yesterday when I finally decided to cut into it.
Now it isn't anything special, but I like the clothes that you can add to.
Anyways, without further adieu;

glad I saw this, I need to make a bunch of shirts before I go off to school...you know...to evade the laundry demons.

The laundry room in my dorm last year was really flippin' creepy, so nobody besta say anything about me being too old for this :p

A friend of mine, when I told her that I was going to make it, asked for me to take process pics and I so obediently followed.

If you make them post some pictures so I can see; if you like I can draw the pattern so it's a bit easier to follow.

Some sage wisdom for you guys though, the straps I made are about three inches.  That wouldn't be a problem except I made them twenty inches long [before i sewed them on] and so they slip off my shoulders.  So I say try try try them on so you don't get slippy sleeves! [sung like row row your boat haha].
