So everyone who makes dolls eventually makes one of Runo's dolls... Here is mine.  She is the nekomimi doll pattern, and the first doll I have made where the neck is part of the head, not the body.  The Snabbit is my pattern, he has sharp pointy teeth!  Anyway, here is barefoot Brittany and her pet Snabbit:

Here she is without hair (it was after her public meltdown):

Here's a closeup of the Snabbit, because what else do you do with white snake print fur?

So, a couple words of advice... Laziness does not get you a better doll.   Roll Eyes  I usually cut the pattern pieces out of freezer paper and iron on to cut out, whatever.  Anyway, I was lazy and just traced around with a green permanent marker.  Wrong Answer!  You can see through the "skin" and see the perm. marker underneath.

Also, acrylic paints are not friends with fabrics that like to bleed.

Legend of the Snabbit:

(Warning - total MooPoo to follow)

Once upon a time there was a viscious bunny that guarded a cave.  He had long pointy teeth!  (Run Away! Run Away!)  But he was lonely.  So he struck up a conversation with a cute little rattlesnake with a nice wiggle. (She thought all the guys around her were just so cold-hearted.)  Turns out, they had a lot in common, including long pointy teeth and the desire to bite!  So they set up house and about a year later, their little eggs hatched, and the Snabbit was born.

I've wanted to make one of those SO bad.  They just look like they'd be so time consuming.  I'll make one eventually, I'm sure....*sighs*
