I was pretty bummed when I got the book and found out they were felted. *sigh* I'm allergic to wool, so I'd have to wear socks with them, nevermind the bother of knitting them. My life sucks. Hehe!

Xanthia - are you allergic to just wool, or all animal fibers? I just made some felted slippers for my dad from alpaca since he's allergic and they felted up beautifully!

[This is my first post on Crafster... I am SO EXCITED!  Grin]  I just started knitting in June and have to say that this was the toughest knitting project I've done yet, but I just dove into it just to see what would happen and it ended up looking like a slipper!  I tackled a few issues while I was knitting them so if you have any questions I can try to answer them.  Here are some pictures...  (i hope this works!)   Kiss
