Hi, all!  I'm a first-timer, and wanted to post a pic of my latest project.

Since finishing the last Harry Potter book, I have fallen in love with the symbol for the Deathly Hallows.  I wanted a necklace with the symbol, so I decided this morning to try and make one.

Here's a link to the finished product:

And here's one to a close-up of the charm:

It's only my second or third beading project, so keep that in mind!

Well since a. I'm older-my brain will forget any spoilers and b. I'm only on reading book 3 and seeing movie 4 I haven't a clue what a spoiler would look like if I tripped over it, LOL.  So you didn't spoil anything for me.

Lovely beaded necklace, so cute.  How long is it? Is it a choker length or more like 20 inches?  Just wondering where the symbol hangs when worn.  It's really pretty.  Way to go!

Thanks!  Grin

I made the necklace 18" long, and the charm is about 2".  That way, it hangs to about 3" below my collar bone, which is just enough to fill the gap when I wear a v-neck.

That's very good for a new beader.  Very creative!

Thank you!  I'm sure I'll get faster the more I do, but this seemed like it took FOREVER.

OoOooo I love it. Harry Potter jewelery has become all the rage. Very good for your second beading project- all my attempts have been failures.
