i love all the posts i've been seeing lately of bags and whatnot made out of fused plastic bags.  i had a stash under my bed to be cut up into 'yarn' for a knitting project, but this provides much more instant gratification. Smiley

this was really fun to make, but i notice that the 'fabric' is more wrinkled than everyone else's appears.  it's not a huge deal, but i am wondering if i'm doing something wrong?

for scale:

the closure is a small hair elastic.  and the colors are much brighter.  but it's late and the battery on my camera was going.

thanks for looking!

I have been dying to try this. I like the crinkled look. And the star button is a really good touch.

These are plastic bags? You have much cooler colors than anything I've seen around here.

I think the wrinkles are good!

Love it.
I agree you have a better plastic selection then I do!
I have found that with fused plastic bags projects that some bags fuse differently. Some wrinkle some don't.

thanks, everyone!  i'm glad to hear that about some kinds of bags fusing differently.

honestly, i have no idea where the bags have come from because i've been collecting them for awhile.  although, the bright blue one is from morocco.  a friend was recently there and she gave me my souvenirs in it!

I tried fuseing some plastic bags, but I stuffed it up REALLY bad so I havn't tried again since Cry
It got really burnt and got holes in it Sad
But yours looks fantastic Smiley
All the others that i've seen have had the same kind of look to them, so I don't think you did anything wrong, but who am I - the queen of wreking stuff - to know Undecided

Good luck with craftyness!
