It's an obsession....

I have a smallish (maybe 12x12) room and all it has in it right now is a bed and craft supplies (all over the floor). It has carpet (which I HATE) and a low ceiling. What to do with it?! I have an OK closet as well.

I don't know what color to paint my walls. I want it to be a very sunny, bright (but not TOO bright) room since it's in the basement. I was thinking maybe a light springy green or blue, maybe even orange. =/ Help!

I would go with a light, pastel green or yellow. Anything too deep or dark (possibly even a blue) can cramp the space. And the lighter colors will brighten the room when the light plays off of it. I'd get some good lamps to brighten up the place, or if there is a small window, put in sheer curtains.

You could get some soft but cheerful sheets for the bed and make some cute pillows for it (because they can be EXPENSIVE!).

And then I'd get some white shelves or bookcase from Ikea or somewhere cheap to put your craft stuff up in. You can make a pegboard, too, or a bulletin board with painted cork coasters (I saw that on another thread). Then maybe go garage sale hunting for cute, cheap accessories or tidbits to make the room unique.

Hope I helped!
