so i had this idea the other morning while i was mostly asleep and decided to give it a try. i don't know if this is something that people actually do. i sure hope not... it was a real pain.

tadaa... knitting elastic thread with steel yarn needles (if you don't know what i'm talking about, they're http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2874&PRODID=prd12564)

i knit it in the round and then put on the dangle because it looked lonely.

hope you like it. comments appreciated Smiley

I knitted with little bitty sewing needles the other day in an attempt to fix a store-bought sweater that tore... and I would NEVER have the patience to make an actual project like that!  That is an adorable little ring, and I admire your patience!

Great idea! I'd like to know about the elastic thread as well, it's not readily available anywhere I have looked so I'm obviously looking in the wrong place
