I was so excited, I couldn't wait!
I bought black duct tape, and I finished my bag today.  It's pretty strong, as it holds my 25 pound son. Smiley
To make the handles, I cut bags as in your tutorial, sliced them in half, and folded them until they were the size I wanted.  Then, I just covered them with the duct tape, and taped them to the inside.  I used one vertical piece for each end, then went around the inside of the bag for a finshed look and additional strength.

GREAT idea with this bag.

Mine didn't turn out exactly the same, and the final product is big, but I think I like it.

You are an inspiration!

Awesome!  I love how you put a photo of your son in the bag -- way to personalize!

Awuh! I really want to see how this bag turned out, but the pictures all went bye-bye. The "inspired" projects all look great, though. FabMarta's is so cute!

Sorry everyone! I have been gone for a while due to moving and working for the man. I fixed the pictures.

Grin  This is such a great idea.  I'm wondering if you could use it and fuse two pieces of fabric together, to say make waterproof baby bibs?  Or burp pads, I haven't seen where anyone used them for either and was thinking I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow. . .  Working today and my lunch is nearly over.

Good thing I like it that way.

Not only do we think it's awesome, I think someone at target must have a Craftster account.
