My sister bought a neat Japanese jewelry making book and made me a ring.  I got inspired and made some of my own.

Here are some pages from the actual book:

The pictures from the book are kind of small. Go here to see them bigger (it's my photobucket album). http://photobucket.com/albums/v204/razberryswrl/  The text is in Japanese so that probably won't be of much help to most of you anyway.

Material required for this project:
Needlenose pliers
Beads
wire (20 gauge for the actual ring part.  and whatever gauge needed to fit thru your beads)
Something to wrap the wire around to make the circular ring part. You can buy a ring mandrel or just use a fat marker.

Gorgeous, especially the pearls one. I think I might just need to make myself some beaded rings now... Smiley

I love those!  Can you share the name of the book?

Sure. My sister lives in San Francisco and I live in Ohio so I'm still trying to get the title from her.  (I seem to miss her every time I call)  I'll post the title as soon as I find out.
