Hi there.

Great purse and thank you for the tutorial.  I read through it and followed it to almost the letter (I used iron on interfacing but the same size as the fabric) and made a toile which came out good.

My question to you is a) how do you apply the snaps and b) what are they called.  I live in Glasgow, Scotland, UK and would like to add this look to some items I make.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks mimiw for the mention of the 'Snap Source'.  I have just checked out their website (Googled 'Snap Source') and am very pleased that they ship internationally as I can't find anything from the UK.  Hoo-rah!!! Grin

The tute is amazing, great job.  It does take 20 minutes to make, I'm on my third one.  I just make mine a little longer, that doesn't mean I have actual monies to put in it.  I've been using a $2 bill to make sure it's big enough to fit. I have tons of scraps laying around and this is just perfect!  I just have to get some snaps to put in them, I only have the sticky velcro for now, which sucks.

I made one tonight.

Since we don't have any fabric stores in my town I went to the bed bath and beyond and picked out some pillow cases and made this one...

I'm going to make a few more, I LOVE THEM!





I was to excited about posting them that I just slapped some Velcro on it
