Hi there.

Great purse and thank you for the tutorial.  I read through it and followed it to almost the letter (I used iron on interfacing but the same size as the fabric) and made a toile which came out good.

My question to you is a) how do you apply the snaps and b) what are they called.  I live in Glasgow, Scotland, UK and would like to add this look to some items I make.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

With thanks and blessings.

Charlotte

Thanks mimiw for the mention of the 'Snap Source'.  I have just checked out their website (Googled 'Snap Source') and am very pleased that they ship internationally as I can't find anything from the UK.  Hoo-rah!!! Grin

With blessings.

I'm glad it was helpful Charlotte5!
I have their size 14 assorted pack and love all the different colors to choose from.  There is always one to match!

The tute is amazing, great job.  It does take 20 minutes to make, I'm on my third one.  I just make mine a little longer, that doesn't mean I have actual monies to put in it.  I've been using a $2 bill to make sure it's big enough to fit. I have tons of scraps laying around and this is just perfect!  I just have to get some snaps to put in them, I only have the sticky velcro for now, which sucks.
Thank you for making my evening busy!

I made one tonight.

Since we don't have any fabric stores in my town I went to the bed bath and beyond and picked out some pillow cases and made this one...

I'm going to make a few more, I LOVE THEM!

I was to excited about posting them that I just slapped some Velcro on it

I made one in less than 30 minutes, and yes I am addicted!  I think that these will be great gift card holders for Christmas.  Thanks for the great tute!
