Motleycruiser,

Your wallets are SO cute! My pink wallet above turned out pretty good but I tried again with some thicker fabric and it just didn't work out. I must not have cut the fabric evenly because when I fold up the bottom to make the pocket, the seams don't match up. I tried a few months ago with the same fabric and had the same problem. Maybe I'll try with some other fabric and see if it's easier. I like the rounded flap and might try that and see how it works. I'm mainly just using some scrap fabric my mom gave me.

I use a light interfacing (Pellon 808 I think) for stiffness. I also trace out my square before sewing with washable markers because I'm horrible at straight lines sometimes. Then I just sew on the lines. Exactly the same every time.
