At my last workplace, I had a lot of coworkers complain that they couldn't find a small bag with a long strap that they could use for shopping and keep their hands free. And since I was the resident seamstress, they turned to me for the answer (of course). I was happy to do it though, because I had been wanting something similar!

They have a zipper pocket in the front, which takes up the entire front side, and an interior patch pocket. They close with a magnetic snap as well. I was able to figure out the pattern and what I wanted the dimensions to be fairly quickly, so they didn't take too long to make. The strap is long enough to go across the body and it's thin so you don't really notice it there.


I love personal swaps! I always need fabric, findings/notions, and cute handmade things!

I really love that Peter Pan fabric.. Where did you get it? They all look fantastic by the way!
