Although it is somewhat fish like. But it is a bird. Trust me. : )
Can't post pictures yet. : ( But here's a link. What do you think???


I need to make this pattern more bird like. Or start making fishes with it. : ) I'll try to scan in the pattern at work, and post the scan.

also, i think what stands out the most as fish-like  Smiley is the body. it looks (in the picture, at least) like the back and stomach are identically curved. maybe if hte back was more inverted and the belly more round, it would look more like a perched bird than, well, a perch! (okay i 'm a sucker fo ra pun)

My friend Tree and I decided today that it is an amphibious bird. I will change the pattern for future birds, but she just loved it. I like making things for friends..... : )

very cute, but you should really try making the pattern bigger so it will be more plush like. putting legs would be a nice touch
