I bought one of these at Staples because I really stink and using an X-acto and a ruler. I always seem to mess  up and cut crooked!

I bought the 15" one because I wanted to be able to cut record covers and they are a little over 12".

The first one I bought had a warped cutting surface so the thing wouldn't lay flat on the table.  I returned it and got another.  This one is not wobbly, but when I make a long cut, I can see a slight curve in it the edge.

Blech.  I think I might exchange it again.

I like how you can also get a scoring blade, perferation blade, and then a bunch of decorative blades.  You can see what the blades do here:

Maybe the third try will be the charm...

12" model

I bought the old fashioned slice-it machine at Staples for my LP journals. I'm OBSESSED with making those even though I haven't had much luck at selling them! Hee. They'll be presents for Christmas holidays, I guess.
I have an X-acto paper trimmer & I love it!
