this is amazing.. i am going to be a pin up sailor girl for halloween and i wanted bettie page type hair but my hair is tooo thin to cut it that way so i am gonna make these bangs and my little sailor hat should cover the seams! THIS IS PERFECT!!!

holy cow! you did those so well! can you give me any further styling advice? I had tried to make some of those a few months ago, and I had NO idea what I was doing, and they came out a total disaster! maybe it was my lack of hair spray?
I have a curling iron, but they just *would not* curl under, no matter what I did. and the places where they met my hair on the sides of my face just looked awful! I had sewed the two tracks together, but they still looked kind of bizarre... I think the disaster is still lying in my bathroom, maybe I will go look at it.
Do you know if you ended up cutting it straight across?

(this whole thing is extra annoying because I HAD THOSE BANGS in high school - I mean, my hair was cut like that - and I can't figure this out and I feel like a bonehead!)
But I guess this is a little different.
thank you for any help you can give me - my hair is a lot wavier than it used to be, so having my old bangs back would be a lot more work than high school!

I never would have thought of this on my own...I need to update my picture (if I can find it among the 100's of my daughters myspace head shots...why do they all look them same?) I cut my hair and in the process of growing out my bangs to do the emo side bang like thing...  Isn't hair so fun!  When ever I want them back I'll just do that!
