if you any of you are into this kind of thing, but want tutorials to do other stuff also, check out the heavenly hair forum tutorial sections
http://www.extra-muffins.com/hair/viewforum.php?f=16
they have a lot of stuff about synth dreads, but also whole sections on loose hair as well. some of the people on there are super knowledgeable ((not quite as nice as all the craftsters, but right up there on the knowledge scale))

p.s.  your bangs ROCK!

Having bangs covers the seam better - i clip in my fake bangs when I am too lazy to spend time actually going my hair - take less than a minute to fix my hair and I am out the door!

I am thinking about making a fakie-Sausage rolls too...http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x80/spectrum_noir/551332024_l.jpg hmm....fakie Pomp hah.. Smiley

That site was pretty cool about the wefts (aka tracks)!

An old lady friend of mine told me that in her country  - women would grow their hair out in their 20's-30's and cut it off and use their own hair for a wig. So when these ladies got old and started losing hair, they could wear a wig of their own hair and it would look completly natural.

thats reallly cool, i dont know if they still do it in some places, but it used to be that the married orthodox jewish women would shave their heads once they were married, and i cant remembed if they ever wore wigs or not, but they shaved their heads so that men besides their husbands wouldnt look at them ((or something like that...dont quote me on it))  i was just thinking with the wigs of your natural hair thing, that would work really well if they ever DID wear wigs.

How cool and awesome!! I have very fine wavy hair so my hair never sits flat and straight for bangs like those. I'm going to give your tute a try, thanks.

I MADE SOME!!!  i kinda love them, but don't have an *really* good pics.

Yeah, I guess I was just feeling the black & white that night.  And if you llook, you can see where the bangs end & my real hair begins.

They're so fun!  Thanks for the inspiration!!
