so, i've finally got my invites and favours all sorted and thought i'd post some pics up here...

my wedding is in the middle of september and is going to be held in an old paint factory that has been converted into an exhibition space. the building has a real industrial feel to it and we wanted to have invitations that were contemporary and that had reference to the paint factory without being too twee.

there are two different invitations - one for the whole day and one for the people who are only invited to the evening party.
the invitations to the whole day are based on the idea of using paint charts, but using our four chosen wedding colours.

here's the front:

the back:

this shows the handmade black envelopes - which i LOVE!!:

here's the evening invite which is a7 size printed on both sides:

i have finished my favours now too. we bought 100 125ml paint tins from a tin manufacturer which we are going to fill with jelly bellys in our wedding colours and personalised love hearts:

i hope you like them all!!  Grin

thanks all for your very kind comments  Grin

laneybug the script is just "edwardian script" which is a pretty standard font, but with some extra twiddly bits drawn on for good measure!!
