I bought the new Mitch O'Connell patterns as soon as I saw them. This is exactly the kind of stuff I love to embroider, so it was fun to just be able to iron on a transfer and go to town! I've had it finished for awhile, but I broke my digital camera. I'm not used to the one I borrowed yet, so I apologise if the quality's not so good.




I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. Maybe a cushion.

That freakin' rocks! I'm mad fer it! Great color choices and great stitching! I hate to say it, but it looks better than the example Jenny did on her website. Ooooh blaspheme!  (Sorry Jenny! You know I love you!  )

I love the way her fishnets came out and the blood on the knife (nice touch)!

Sexy, I love the brass knuckles the best. And the fishnet stockings are great. Did you only use a few strands? Awesome work.

I used split stitch with 3 strands (I used 1 or 2 for the rest) 'cause I wanted her hair to have "volume".

If you mean for the stockings, I used regular sewing thread. I wanted something thinner than 1 strand of embroidery thread.

i like the beer bottle in green and the colors you picked are fabulously suited to the design...do you have an estimate on how long it took you?

lmao! Yeah, don't do that. But thanks! These patterns are great, I would definitely recommend them. I think they're my new favorite Sublime Stitching patterns.

Thanks! I'll try for some more detailed pics. I'm starting to get the hang of this camera (it's so much more complicated than I'm used to). Time-wise, I did it over 3 evenings with a fairly long movie watching/embroidery sitting each evening. Roughly 5-6 hours, I guess.

OMG! That is friggin' amazing! Seriously amazing! Hitting this rocks! You should really show this to Mitch O' Connell. He loves seeing all the embroidery. I did an embroidery piece from one of his paintings years ago and he was so sweet and put it on his website.
