I received my tin today, and it is FABULOUS!  I was secretly crossing my fingers and toes that my swap partner aka puppybreath would choose this theme!

I now present the ever elegant Victorian...

Handknit pouch with brooch button, tag with note, and darling tea kettle charm:

Outside:

Barrettes:

Earrings:

I didn't get a good picture of the inside, it is lined with pretty paper, and has a brooch like the pouch, and some little golden butterflies.
She also included some star stickers (another theme I had picked), and some treats!

I love my tin puppybreath!! This afternoon was like Christmas morning, I was all giddy when I found this in my mailbox!  Thank you!  And now I am definitely addicted to swapping!!

Hey everybody!  Treetree has recieved her tin, and she is super busy at the moment, so I thought I would post some pics of the tin I sent her...I went mostly with her sushi theme, sorry this one is so dark!  here's the top...sushi with wasabi and ginger:

and the inside, the top has the house specials from my fav sushi house, and the bottom is a card from a really great japanese market (where I got the sushi suckers!):

the stuff inside:

a close up of the brooches, she said she'd really like brooches and hair pins...the brooches are pictures from sushi comic books!:

the other stuff:

She also had castles, and the band The White Stripes as some of her themes, so there are some hair pins inspired by those...
I hope she likes it!  It was a lot of fun to make!

Awesome sushi tin, superhooker!  I'm loving all the tins this round, especially that Wizard of Oz tin and I really can't stand that movie!  The bugs are really fun, too.  What great themes!

I received from ashestoashes!  She picked my penguin theme.  The tin itself has a little snow scene on top with two tubby penguins hanging out next to an igloo, all in polymer clay.  VERY high cuteness quotient!  More penguin-y fun on the inside, with black-and-white graphic paper on the insides and a large penguin on the inside lid, plus a sheet of tiny little penguin stickers.  And a felt pocket stuffy of Badtz-Maru, which is sitting on my desk right now.  He's always so grumpy looking, I figured he was an ideal mascot for work.  And a pretty beaded red-and-black bracelet.  A great tin!  Thank you! Cheesy
