It came!

First was a letter from McGonagall herself, as well as a contents list.

I got my own witch's hat, just like McGonagalls!

Each item had a letter on it about the item...nice touch!

A charm bracelet with a clever charm representing each of the Weasley children.

Then of course, the ever fateful Mirror of the Erised, complete with a warning to be careful how to use it.

Then, a very cute cell phone cozy, said to be from Arthur Weasley after he learned to knit like a proper muggle.

Ollivander's guidebook of wands was next.

As you can see, it's very detailed and fascinating.

I even got a bag to put my things in.

And last but not least, a future Hogwarts stencil!

Thanks so much!  This swap was so much fun!

Wow, there've been so many great packages today! I can't pick what I like most! The Harry sleeping mask is definitely up there, I love how it's even got tape in the middle. (I would have exclaimed that sentence but I've used exclamation marks at the end of  every sentence so far Tongue)

Happy birthday, Sarahsaloser! And happy my-two-year-anniversary, everyone Wink

OK, Shannon12 received my package today, so I guess it's OK to post pictures now.  I 'm anxious to know what everyone thinks.

I did a couple of smaller items.

A bookmark from her wist:

Her very own Owl:

A Hermione wand made of vine wood and dragon's heartstring (close up of Handle):

Her favorite creature is Buckbeak so....

And last, but not least, my favorite item, a fair isle knit bag in her favorite house colors.

The bag is my first completed knit project and I have never attempted fair isle knits, but I really like how it turned out.  It wasn't easy to part with it.  I'd love to know what you think.

That owl is so unusual! I don't think I've seen anything like it, and that's a compliment. Buckbeak is wonderful and that knit bag is amazing! What a great package!

The owl is macrame.  There was a lot of them in the '70s.  Not so much anymore though.  Don't know why, I love them. Smiley  I remember having a few of them in the bathroom on the wall.  (for some reason, they seemed to be in bathrooms a lot)
