This is a pattern from the "Bend-The-Rules" book. I used a kitchen towel for the outside, I just loved the texture. I learned one thing though, it is a bear to stitch through. I bent a needle or two, and it's a little sloppy here and there, but I love the end results!

Cute!  I saw this pouch in my friend's copy of Bend the Rules, and I loved it!  Was it easy to sew?

I like how you put embroidery on all the main pieces of your pouch.  Very clever!  And yes, embroidering on a waffle weave towel can sometimes be a pain.   Wink

Oh yes...Ridiculously easy. I've bought a few of the new "it" sewing books and most of them were just meh for me. But Bend The Rules Sewing, I seriously love it. Smiley
