My old canisters were starting to look a bit shabby, so I decided it was time for some new ones.  The trickiest bit was finding plain white canisters.  I stenciled parts with freezer paper and painted the rest.

The full set

Flour and sugar, Gashlycrumb Tinies and some fur coat guys

Yes, super great, I bet they look wonderful in your kitchen.  I am so glad that people are starting to back away traditional things for their kitchens.  You did a wonderful job!

I'm envious of your detail. Great job and great choice of design.

Aw, thanks everybody.  I'm glad you guys think the detail is good.  I have really shaky hands, so there were more than a couple re-dos.

Those bring back memories of watching the American intro sequence of Mystery! on public television and the Gorey cartoon freaking me out.  Those canisters are awesome!
