I decide to hone my crochet skills a bit as they've been languishing ever since I learned to knit.  So I found a nice afghan pattern and made a really narrow version of it.   Grin

i can't remember specifically, but basically:

row 1:  shell st. across row

row 2:  put 2 dcs in the top stitch of each shell, put a tc in the valley between the shells.

Something like that.  I don't really remember.
