I know it's a little early for making sweaters, but I'm currently working on the Lush lace Pullover, a free pattern from Lion Brand. It's going great so far, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me?

Here's the link: http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60210A.html.

I'm using good ol' Red Heart, since it's a layering piece and shouldn't be right against my skin.

I like to do personal swaps now and again.

I knit, crochet, and make stitch markers.

Just pm me if you wanna swap. Smiley

I'm using color 0374 Country Rose. Here's a progress pic:

I put paper in it to show the stitch definition. It's a fun WIP.  Smiley I hope someone will join me soon.

Wow, eatyerhartout, that is nice work. I like the pattern, I wish I could wear turtleneck sweaters- they don't flatter me at all though. It looks like a fun stitch pattern!

I've had this pattern on my to-do list. Yours is coming along nicely!

That is intriguing.  I might get in on that, although I would change the pattern somewhat...I don't like the really open pattern and then the turtleneck.  I might do the really open pattern and try to make a non-turtleneck.  Or something.  Things!  *bookmarks page*

The turtleneck is the last step, so you can always leave it off. Since I'm using a fairly rough yarn, that's probably what I'll do, too.

It's not a very difficult pattern to modify, as far as I can tell. I know the skill level says 'experienced', but i think it's more like an intermediate.

Ooh! That looks like a cute sweater; I think I might try it, and just leave the turtleneck off like others have suggested. How is it coming along?

It's gorgeous! If only I had five balls of Wool-Ease in the same color - or maybe I could work it in stripes?
Hm.
