Junior mycologists have questionable morels

Ok, this was in... 2005 I think. It was my first and WORST recon. I didn't have enough money to get new garb after mine was ruined by rain the year before, so I threw this together in a few hours. I took a vest I bought from Goodwill, darted it in the back, and sewed up the buttonholes while making new holes for the "corset". For the chemisse, I took an old ladies nightgown and cut the neck out of it and ruffled the neck a bit. I'll post my more recent recons later when I can find my camera :-p

ha-- I am so NOT deleting this post as you requested!  I think it was very clever of you to re-use a vest the way you did!  I can't tell you how many vests I have that no longer fit, but would look great as faux corsets!!!

Gotta love a craft crisis and the solutions craftsters come up with!
