so, using a tutorial from here (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177288.10) i made this t-shirt dress.  the t-shirt was only a large, so i had to kinda fudge around a little with the top band and add a little strip under the armpits to make it wide enough.  the straps are made partly with the neck band.  i also had to add some darts, in the bust and the back.  overall i'm pretty happy.  it's super comfy!!  i added the ribbon as an after thought because it looked kinda plain.

Really cute!  Maybe try adding 3 buttons to the front of the same fabric...or else some pockets?  I love the plain-er knitwear- it can go with N-E-thing!
